Coach’s Weekly Challenge

I looked around this week and noticed how busy people are. They do not even have 5 minutes to think.  My friends say they are overwhelmed and there are not enough hours in the day.  As we get closer to the holidays we will lose even more precious quiet time.

Here is your homework-

When you get up in the morning before you do anything like check your phone or think of everything you need to do lay quietly for 5 minutes. Do not think about anything. Just feel the stillness of your mind. Then go start your day with a calm clear head.

At night before you go to sleep, put a box next to the bed. A basket would work great too. There is where your troubles, thoughts, and worries go into. Everything that is not important and will not need your attention through the night goes in there. I wake up “thinking” about what needs to be handled. There is nothing I can do at 3 am that cannot be done at 9 am.  So 5 minutes in the morning and 5 minutes at night for a less cluttered mind.
